This release brings native cryptocurrency support and a fully redesigned interface to Orizon Analytics, making it easier to track and monitor your entire portfolio in one place.

Native Cryptocurrency Support

What: Orizon now includes a dedicated Crypto Allocation page and an automated 24/7 pricing engine built specifically for digital assets.

Why: Digital assets trade around the clock and operate differently from traditional equities. This update gives you the same level of visibility into your crypto holdings that you already have for stocks and ETFs, including live price feeds, market cap data, crypto-specific metrics, and granular token-level breakdowns, without needing a separate tool.

Modernized Interface

What: The entire application layout has been visually updated.

Why: Monitoring portfolio data means spending a lot of time reading dense information. The new design improves readability and reduces visual noise, making it easier to focus on the data that matters to you.

Restructured Navigation

What: The application sidebar has been reorganized into six focused destinations: Dashboard, Holdings, Allocation, Income, Connections, and Echo AI.

Why: As the platform has grown, so has the number of tools available to you. This update simplifies how you move through the app, putting your most-used views one click away and reducing the time spent navigating between sections.

Expanded Data Connectivity via Plaid

We are excited to announce that we have integrated Plaid into the Orizon Analytics ecosystem. This addition expands our data aggregation capabilities, combining with our existing SnapTrade infrastructure to provide you with broader coverage, improved stability, and deeper transparency into your financial connections.

1. The New Connections Hub

What: We have launched a fully redesigned Connections Hub that serves as your central control panel for financial data. This hub clearly categorizes your Connected vs. Available providers and introduces real-time status indicators.

Why: We want to eliminate the "black box" of data syncing. By providing clear visibility into which aggregator (Plaid or SnapTrade) is powering each of your accounts, you can now monitor the health of your data pipeline at a glance and easily manage your connections in one place.

2. Expanded Provider Access

What: Beyond our curated list of supported brokerages, you can now utilize an advanced Plaid search tool to explore over 3,000 US-based financial institutions.

Why: We know your tracking needs are complex and your accounts are often spread across multiple institutions. This update ensures that whether you use a major national brokerage or a specialized regional firm, you are more likely than ever to find a seamless, automated connection to Orizon.

3. Enterprise-Grade Security via Plaid

What: All new connections established via Plaid benefit from OAuth-based authentication (via "Plaid Link") and AES-256 encryption.

Why: Security is the foundation of our platform. Plaid’s security infrastructure provides an audit-verified framework for data protection. Most importantly, this technology ensures a strictly read-only bridge; Orizon never sees, accesses, or stores your banking login credentials.

4. User-Led Data Control

What: The Connections Hub gives you granular control over your data. You can now perform "Initial Syncs," monitor sync duration (e.g., "Synced 4 minutes ago"), and utilize a new Kebab Menu to reconnect or delete any financial provider instantly.

Why: You remain the sole owner of your financial data. These controls empower you to maintain your dashboard’s accuracy and provide the ability to revoke access at any time, ensuring that your tracking experience is always on your terms.

The Connections Hub is more than just a list; it is a commitment to transparency. By distinguishing between our high-performance aggregators and providing real-time sync status updates, we ensure that your visual tracking dashboard is fueled by data you can trust.

Product Update: New Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) & Enhanced Account Protection

We've launched Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to add a stronger layer of protection to your account, particularly when connecting external financial institutions.

Progressive security

What: MFA is introduced at the moments it matters most. You can explore Orizon's manual tools without MFA enabled, but it becomes required before linking any external brokerage account.

Why: We want new users to get familiar with the platform without unnecessary friction, while ensuring that any real-time connection to your financial accounts is fully secured before it's established.

30-day device trust

What: When completing MFA verification, you can check “Trust this device for 30 days” to skip code entry on that browser for 30 days.

Why: Security shouldn't mean re-verifying every time you open your dashboard. Device trust lets you move quickly on familiar devices while keeping your account protected. Verification is required again once the 30-day window expires.

Security settings panel

What: A new Security section in Account Settings lets you manage trusted devices and connected brokerages. The "Clear Trusted Devices" option immediately revokes trusted status across all browsers.

Why: If you ever log in from a shared computer or think a device may be compromised, you can lock down all active sessions instantly without needing to contact support.

A Note on Financial Connections

All external account connections on Orizon are strictly read-only. Our software securely retrieves holdings and historical metrics for visualization; we cannot place trades, move funds, or access your direct financial provider credentials.

Support for ETFs and Mutual Funds

We are pleased to share our latest update, which introduces expanded tracking capabilities for ETFs and Mutual Funds, providing additional ways to categorize and analyze your portfolio.

With this update, we have introduced dedicated spaces for Stocks, ETFs, and Mutual Funds, allowing for a more organized view of your total holdings.

Alongside these, we’ve also refreshed the analytical view for your Individual Stocks.

New: Dedicated Funds Analysis Page

What: We have launched a dedicated Funds page to isolate and analyze your ETF and Mutual Fund holdings. This includes a new Funds Selector Slider to toggle between asset classes, interactive Performance Graphs, and a Portfolio Fund Composition Treemap.

Why: Previously, Orizon focused primarily on individual equities. By providing a dedicated space for ETFs and Mutual Funds, you can now analyze the diversified portion of your portfolio independently. This allows you to monitor fund-specific growth and allocation metrics without the volatility of individual stock data.

Enhanced: Stocks Allocation Summary

What: We have updated the Stocks page with a new suite of Stocks Summary Cards. These cards provide a snapshot of your total equity market value, unique ticker count, and estimated unrealized gains.

Why: To ensure analytical consistency across the platform, the Stocks and Funds page summary cards and are now aligned on the type of data shown. The new Portfolio Percentage metric is designed to show you what percentage of your total Orizon portfolio is held in individual stocks compared to your entire Orizon Analytics tracked holdings.
